- Minimum 70% marks in Intermediate (FSc Pre-Engineering, ICS, Pre-Medical or equivalent)
- Result-awaiting students can apply on first-year marks (conditional admission)
- Pre-Medical students are eligible for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science after completing required math deficiency courses
Merit formula is simple:
50% Intermediate marks + 50% entry test score
Accepted tests include NAT (NTS), USAT (HEC), ECAT, ETEA, NET (NUST) and a few others depending on the programme.

Campus Life & Culture
The campus is rural and quiet, located about 30 km from Mianwali city near Namal Lake. Separate hostels exist for boys and girls with mess, Wi-Fi, laundry, gym and basic sports facilities. Transport runs between the hostel, campus and Mianwali city.
Labs for engineering and computing are functional. The environment is disciplined and focused. Because the campus is isolated, social life is limited compared to big-city universities. Many students say the strong scholarship culture and smaller class sizes are the biggest advantages.
Compared with larger private universities in Lahore or Islamabad, Namal is more affordable once scholarships are factored in, but location and limited programme options are the trade-offs.
