NUST Admission Process for 2025

  • Register for NUMS MDCAT 2025 a NUMS Website. The test is scheduled for 14 September 2025.
  • Once registered, candidates are automatically considered for NSHS admissions based on the set eligibility criteria.
  • Next, NUMS will announce the final deadline for MBBS applications. Candidates must follow these dates strictly.
  • After the merit list is finalized, NSHS will begin its selection process.
  • Then, candidates will receive emails requesting confirmation based on their merit position.
  • Only those who confirm willingness will receive provisional admission offers.
  • Following that, candidates can download the provisional selection letter from the NUST website by entering their NUMS roll number.
  • After receiving the letter, candidates must pay admission dues in the designated bank. Payment instructions are included in the letter.
  • Moreover, they must send proof of payment to NUST before the deadline. PM&DC allows only 2–3 working days for this payment.

Eligibility Criteria for NUMS MDCAT – 2025

Who Can Apply

To appear in NUMS MDCAT 2025, candidates must be:

  • Pakistani citizens, overseas Pakistanis, dual nationals, or foreign nationals.
  • Students of FSc, HSSC, A-Levels, or 12th Grade.
  • Result-awaiting candidates may also apply.

Test Validity

Only the NUMS MDCAT held on 14 September 2025 will be valid for 2025–26 MBBS admissions.

Eligibility Criteria for Local Candidates

  • Candidates must have passed Intermediate, HSSC, A-Levels, or an equivalent Pakistani-recognized qualification.
  • A minimum of 60% marks is required.
  • Biology and Chemistry are compulsory; Physics or Mathematics must be the third subject.
  • Passing NUMS MDCAT 2025 is mandatory.

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Candidates

  • Expatriate students must hold a recognized equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks.
  • Biology and Chemistry are essential subjects.
  • They do not need to appear in NUMS MDCAT 2025.
  • Instead, they must qualify one of the following:
    • SAT-II with at least 550 in each subject,
    • Foreign MCAT with 50% marks,
    • UCAT with a minimum of 50% score in relevant subjects.
