Zia-ud-Din University karachi, recognized by the HEC, began with a noble mission rooted in the legacy of Sir Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad. He was a celebrated philosopher, mathematician, academician, and political thinker who aimed to expand quality education among Muslims in the subcontinent.
In 1986, the Ziauddin Group took its first educational step by launching the School of Nursing. Later, in 2009, it evolved into the College of Nursing and began offering undergraduate and graduate programs. The Pakistan Nursing Council officially recognized it.
On December 13, 2005, the institution received its official charter and became Ziauddin University. Initially focused on medical sciences, the university soon broadened its academic scope. Over time, it developed into a multidisciplinary institution.
