Established in 2012, Khushal Khan Khattak University began as a long-awaited aspiration for the local people. Named after the iconic Pashtun poet and warrior, the university honors a rich cultural legacy. Initially, operations commenced in an old revenue academy building.
Although the structure was in poor condition, authorities invested heavily to renovate and restore it. Eventually, officials selected a permanent site for the main campus near Jail Chowk, Karak. Presently, thirteen academic departments are actively running on campus, offering diverse programs.
