UET Faisalabad, a regional campus of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore since 2004, is situated in Faisalabad, often referred to as the Manchester of Pakistan due to its industrial significance. The campus contributes significantly to the country’s economy.
The decision to establish a campus in Faisalabad was driven by the city’s status as Pakistan’s third-largest metropolitan area and a key industrial hub. The Government of Punjab allocated over 220 acres of land to facilitate its development.
UET Faisalabad fosters a dynamic academic environment, featuring highly qualified faculty, state-of-the-art laboratories, and dedicated support staff. The university promotes a blend of strong academics, industry partnerships, and extracurricular activities to cultivate skilled engineers and scientists.
All engineering programs at the campus are accredited under Level-2 of the Washington Accord’s Outcome-Based Education (OBE) system by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). However the Recognizing Faisalabad’s prominence in textile manufacturing, such as the university established the Department of Textile Engineering to address the growing demand for professionals in this field.

Accreditation & Affiliations
UET Faisalabad and its departments are officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) and accredited by the PEC, PCATP, and the Washington Accord.
Health Facilities
The university provides medical services to students and employees, overseen by a dedicated Health Committee. Resident students unable to visit the clinic can request a doctor’s visit through a Resident Tutor. However, external medical prescriptions are not covered by the university clinic.

Sports Facilities
