Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology Khuzdar BUET Khuzdar is on the outskirts of Khuzdar. People often call Khuzdar the heart of Balochistan. The university started in 1987. It is linked with the Pakistan Engineering Council and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
This institution started as a college and later became a university. It stands at the foothills of Khuzdar on a vast 200-acre campus. The peaceful and quiet surroundings create a perfect place for learning and research. The university is well known for its strong focus on technical and engineering education.

The university has a small student body with 1,000 students in total. There are 800 students in undergraduate programs and 200 in postgraduate programs.
