BISE Swat Postpones Matric Examinations 2026 Until Further Notice

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Swat) has officially postponed its 2026 matriculation (SSC) examinations until further notice, impacting thousands of students across Swat, Shangla, and surrounding regions falling under its administrative jurisdiction.

The abrupt announcement was issued on Sunday, October 11—just a day before the scheduled commencement of the papers on Monday.

Unexpected Delay for SSC Candidates

According to board authorities, the decision forces an immediate halt to all scheduled papers under the SSC Annual-II examination timetable. Examinations had previously faced disruptions when papers originally scheduled between October 7 and October 10 were deferred. While testing was slated to resume on October 12 under a revised schedule, the entire examination series has now been put on hold indefinitely.

Revised Date Sheet to Be Released

The educational board has confirmed that a replacement schedule and a revised date sheet will be finalized and announced in due course. Board officials have strictly advised candidate students, parents, and school administrators not to rely on unverified social media updates and to monitor official channels for authenticated schedule releases.

Students are encouraged to stay prepared for upcoming papers while waiting for official confirmation from the examination authorities.
