Test Requirements for Admission

• To apply for Master’s programs, candidates must appear in the GAT (General) test.
• For PhD programs, the GAT (Subject) test is mandatory for all applicants.
• Applicants need a minimum of 50% in GAT (General) for M.Sc. (H), M.Phil, MS, and MBA degrees.
• A 60% qualifying score is required in GAT (Subject) for PhD programs.
• Additionally, NTS-conducted GAT (General/Subject) is also acceptable.

How to Apply

• First, apply online at the University’s website: www.aup.edu.pk or use the portal: http://portal.aup.edu.pk.
• Submit a separate application form for each discipline you wish to apply for.
  Then, print the admission test form and attach a Rs.1500/- receipt (non-refundable).
• Deposit the fee in Account No. 14877902286403 at Habib Bank Ltd, University of Agriculture Peshawar branch.
  Submit both the form and receipt to the DASAR Office by 18.07.2025.
• If you qualify the test, pay the Rs.1500/- admission processing fee (non-refundable) in the same account.
  Submit your documents, receipt, and form to the concerned department by 13.08.2025.
• Candidates awaiting results may still apply for the test.
  However, they must submit provisional certificates or degrees before the interview date.
• Only candidates who submit the Admission Test Form to the DASAR Office by the deadline can take the test.
• Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
