Named after its visionary founder, Nawab Sir Sadiq Khan Abbasi V, the university has a rich legacy. From the beginning, it has focused on empowering women through quality education and character-building opportunities.
Initially established in 1944 as an intermediate college, it progressed steadily. By 1957, it evolved into a degree awarding institution for women. Recognizing the rising demand for higher education, the college launched Master’s programs. Consequently, it was upgraded to a postgraduate institution in 2010.
