Abasyn University Peshawar holds a charter from the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and recognition by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Remarkably, it was the only university in KPK to receive the prestigious “W” category at its inception then the highest classification in HEC’s former ranking system. With the support of dedicated sponsors and staff, and by the grace of ALLAH, Abasyn University was featured in the HEC’s 2014 rankings, released in May 2015.
The University delivers academic programs across diverse disciplines such as Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Education, and Technology. The National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), Pakistan, has accredited its BS programs in Computer Science and Software Engineering.
Furthermore, the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan recognizes its pharmacy programs. Additionally, the Pakistan Engineering Council permits the University to offer Bachelor of Engineering degrees in both Electrical and Civil Engineering.
