University of Kotli

The University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir began its journey in 1980 as a single faculty. Initially known as the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, it gradually evolved into the University of Management Sciences and Information Technology. Eventually, it attained full university status as the University of Kotli Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

To ensure educational quality, we invited national accreditation councils to review major programs. These programs include Business Administration, Law, Education, Computer Science, IT, and Software Engineering. In parallel, the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) completed essential internal assessments. These include Self Institutional Performance Review and Postgraduate Program Review. Moreover, QEC recently conducted a comprehensive Self-Assessment Review across all faculties. This reinforces our consistent pursuit of academic excellence.

We are proud that many programs have secured accreditation or are currently under review. Meanwhile, we have also initiated the process to obtain NOCs for all other eligible programs. By adhering to HEC standards, we ensure each academic offering meets quality benchmarks and maintains credibility.
