Quaid-e-Awam University College of Engineering, Science and Technology (QUCEST) Larkana campus was established to expand engineering and technology education to Sindh’s interior regions. The Government of Sindh approved this initiative during the PDWP meeting on May 25, 2009. The first student intake was in January 2010.
Initially, classes were conducted in the Government Home Economics College Larkana, provided by the Education and Literacy Department of Sindh. 350 acres of land has been allocated near Moen jo Daro Road, Areeja for a future purpose-built campus.
The first batch graduated in December 2013, and the program is accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

Affiliated with Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology (QUEST), Larkana. Recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. All programs follow HEC and PEC-approved curricula.

Civil Engineering
- One of the oldest engineering fields, involved in infrastructure development.
- Includes roads, bridges, airports, canals, railways, and water systems.
- High demand for Civil Engineers in Pakistan due to rapid development.
Mechanical Engineering
- Covers design, manufacturing, production, installation, and maintenance.
- Includes robotics, automation, and industrial electronics.
- Graduates work in WAPDA, OGDCL, NESPAK, PSO, KPT, DESCON, and international industries.
- Offers short courses in AutoCAD, Pro-E, CNC, CAD/CAM, and PLC software.
Electrical Engineering
- Four year undergraduate program focusing on power systems, circuit theory, electronics, and digital systems.
- Practical learning includes power measurement techniques, laboratory experiments, and site visits.
- Graduates work in power and industrial sectors in Pakistan and abroad.
Electronic Engineering
- Focuses on research and innovation in electronic systems.
- Prepares students for careers as engineers, scientists, and educators.
- Offers hands on training, industrial collaboration, and public and private sector job opportunities.
