Founded as a public research university in BUITEMS Quetta, Balochistan University Of Information Technology and Management Sciences was officially chartered by the Government of Balochistan on July 18, 2002. The university offers graduate and undergraduate programs across multiple disciplines, redefining education with a global vision and high academic standards.

City Campus
- Home to the Faculty of Management Sciences

Takatu Campus
- Main campus, housing the Faculties of Information & Communication Technology and Engineering
- Features the Expo Center, a hub for seminars, convocations, and exhibitions
- Includes cutting edge research labs, including Petroleum Lab and Textile Lab
Zhob Campus
- Established to expand higher education access in Zhob and neighboring areas
- Phase 1 (temporary campus) started classes in April 2018
- Phase 2 involves developing a fully equipped permanent campus
