Established in 1988, the Health Services Academy (HSA) began offering short courses to public health workers. Later, the HSA Ordinance of 2002 granted the institution full autonomy. Since then, it has evolved into a leading center for public health education and research in Pakistan. Importantly, HSA stands as the only institute in Pakistan offering a PhD in Public Health.

Additionally, it provides FCPS, MS in Public Health, and MEDVC programs. Moreover, students can pursue M.Sc in Health Economics and Management or a PG Certificate in HR for Health. Through quality teaching, research, and policy guidance, HSA continues to build public health expertise nationwide.
