Greenwich University Karachi

Greenwich University began its inspiring journey in 1987 with a vision to combat illiteracy in Pakistan. Since its inception, it has evolved into a leading institution in Management, Social Sciences, and Media Studies. Moreover, it has expanded its expertise into Humanities and Fashion, earning national recognition and global respect.

By 1998, just 11 years later, the university gained autonomous degree-awarding status under the Sindh Government Act. Consequently, Greenwich secured a place among Pakistan’s top five business universities with international academic outreach.

In 2000, Greenwich broadened its scope by introducing the Faculty of Social Sciences to its academic portfolio. Then in 2004, the university launched its first publication, G-Vision, highlighting its academic and cultural voice. Two years later, it established the Greenwich Research & Development Centre (GRDC) to promote high-quality research. GRDC strengthens research practices, upholds ethics, and drives scholarly innovation across various disciplines.
