Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture, Multan is a fast growing university in Southern Punjab, Pakistan.  It is located on Old Shujaabad Road, Chungi No. 21, in Multan. The university was founded to develop agriculture in the region and meet the unique farming needs of Southern Punjab.

The Chief Minister of Punjab took the lead in establishing this institution. Founded in 2012, the university is part of a large agricultural complex. This complex includes various institutes that focus on agricultural research, extension, and services in Punjab.

Moreover, the university has earned a place in international rankings. It appeared in Times Higher Education Rankings 2022, WURI, and UI Geometric Ranking as an eco friendly university. The university offers more than 50 undergraduate and postgraduate programs, with about 7 thousand students currently enrolled.

It has more than 100 faculty members, most of whom hold PhDs from technologically advanced countries. The university focuses on quality teaching, learning, and research to enhance academic excellence. To strengthen research and outreach, it has established several specialized centers, including

The Government of Punjab chartered Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) in 2013. It is a recognized university by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

The MNSUAM Library offers a collection of over 6 thousands books, magazines, and CDs. This includes HEC Pakistan Educational Research Network project. All university members can use these resources for independent research, curriculum enhancement, or personal learning.

Scholarships

The Student Financial Aid Office (SFAO) is dedicated to helping students succeed by providing Scholarships and guidance. It supports student recruitment, retention, and timely degree completion. The office ensures that a world class education remains accessible to all eligible students needing financial assistance.

Courses provided

In just three years, MNS University of Agriculture built a strong reputation. Students from around the world choose to enroll in its programs and courses. All programs use English as the medium of instruction, except for Islamic Studies, which is taught in Urdu. The academic year has two main semesters: Fall and Spring. Additionally, students can Choose a Summer session.

Enrollment process

Candidates can obtain the prospectus or admission forms from HBL on Old Shujaabad Road, Multan. Alternatively, they can download the forms from the university’s website, fill them out, and submit them.

To complete the submission, candidates must attach a bank draft of 500/2000 PKR and send it to the Chairman Admission Committee’s office. Along with the admission form, candidates must provide attested copies of their testimonials.

They can submit the documents in person or send them via post or courier on working days. The university publishes the merit list on its website, so candidates should check it regularly. For the upcoming session, the university has introduced a new scheme of study.
