Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology Khuzdar BUET Khuzdar is on the outskirts of Khuzdar. People often call Khuzdar the heart of Balochistan. The university started in 1987. It is linked with the Pakistan Engineering Council and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
This institution started as a college and later became a university. It stands at the foothills of Khuzdar on a vast 200-acre campus. Recent Scholarships
Scholarship program funded by Uch
Uch, under its Corporate Social Responsibility program, has provided need-based scholarships to deserving students from Balochistan at BUETK since 2015. These annual scholarships cover academic fees, exam fees, and living expenses for selected students at BUET Khuzdar. Uch plans to continue the scholarship program for the academic year 2023-2024.
Deserving and eligible students from Balochistan, especially those from the Nasirabad division, who are not receiving scholarships from other sources, are encouraged to apply. To ensure the early disbursement of funds, the deadline for applications is August 30, 2023.
HEC has released the Provisional Merit List for the Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme 2023. All applicants should check their status in the list. If there are any concerns, they must submit a written application with evidence to the Department Focal Persons (DFPs) or Super Focal Person (SFP) by July 18, 2023. After reviewing valid objections, HEC will finalize and publish the Final Merit List.
Need-Based Scholarship Program by HEC
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Need-Based Scholarship Program is managed through individual universities across Pakistan. Each participating university is responsible for processing applications, evaluating eligibility, and selecting recipients. As a result, applicant lists and selected students are maintained and published by the respective universities, rather than centrally by HEC.
