Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS)

Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS) in Quetta is the sole medical university in Balochistan, addressing the educational needs of medical professionals. It serves as the leading institution for medical and health sciences, with Bolan Medical College and the Dental Section (University Dental College) as its core components. BUMHS stands as the premier educational authority in the province.

Established to advance medical and health sciences education in Balochistan, BUMHS is tasked with admitting students into the MBBS and BDS programs at Bolan Medical College and University Dental College. It also oversees admissions for other public sector medical colleges in the province.

The PMDC Adhoc Council has designated one medical university in each province as the official Admitting University. For Balochistan, BUMHS holds this responsibility.
